My mother was suggested to use adore to have her wedding dress altered by the shop she purchased her dress from. I’m very sad to say her alterations were not done properly at all, she requested to have her dress altered to her height with her bridal shoes on and although they took some length off it was still long and caused her to be tripping on it all day/night including when she was walking towards her awaiting husband to be down the aisle! On top of that her bust part of her dress was supposed to be altered as it was quite a lot to big for her bust size and it wasn’t altered to fit her at all her dress rode up and she had issues with her cups exposing her breast, which is not something you should be concerned about during your wedding. Also her dress was supposed to be bustled and the bustle was done so poorly it actually broke and she ended up having to take her dress off and change into something else midway through her reception as she was worried about more damage being done as she couldn’t walk or dance properly in the dress due to the poor alterations. I wouldn’t recommend using this alteration service the price she paid was not worth the fact that this was done to her.

My (92 yr old) mother had 2 skirts and 3 sets of pants altered and hemmed. All work excellent and the service person was extremely helpful and caring. Finish of the work was excellent. Length of the hemming spot on. I have taken a lot of work to this business over about the last 20 years and always received top service.

Husband took in my wedding dress to be dry cleaned, was told they would call us back with the price, lady said it was $150 plus extra 20 per layer and would speak to owner to confirm price first. Next day received the call from owner stating it would be $400!! Husband went in and collected as we were taking it elsewhere, he asked how she came up with the price, she counted layers and price came to $270, then she said price would actually be $320 husband wasn't sure why she added more on! Took it to dry cleaners in mindarie and they done it for 255. I would absolutely avoid this place at all costs. Very dishonest.

Had a zip replaced only to use the zip a couple of times and now it’s broken already, on returning to get them to replace it they said they only guarantee the sewing not the zip even though they provided the zip!!! And they were so rude…
